Engage with your family with civility and fun with this booklet of 101 Victorian Parlor Games by Tyler Hogan. We will be trying some of these out this holiday season! Tom and Tyler were in a homeschooling group together way back in the day when Tom's family was based in Delaware. Tyler is now up to some incredible things like publishing materials to help homeschool families and leading community development efforts with Grace Church in Dover. 

'Legacy' Piano Album

Enjoy this beautiful 20-song-collection of hymns performed on the piano by Beverly Hawkins, a long-term missionary to France and one of our Field Leaders with Greater Europe Mission. 

The Appel Boys listen to these hymns played on the piano every night, all night long! What a beautiful thing to sow the rich heritage of worship music while they sleep!

Jonny was an intern at Christ Church Chorleywood Tom's first two years as Youth Pastor. We have led worship and youth group together, not to mention formed a lasting friendship. Joanna also designed the album jacket for his last album. He is a legend and we love this guy!

Bisous BnB - Nashville, TN

Give $500 or more and book a stay at the Bisous BNB Nashville, Tennessee! (Limit: 3)

Stay at the hip and sweet home of the Somers! They can accommodate two people (a queen bed) for up to three days. The accommodation is a guest room in their home with access to the family kitchen and bathrooms. The stay must happen in the next two years and exact dates will be worked out directly with the Somers, based upon availability. The Somers live in north Nashville, 15 minutes from downtown, the Opryland Hotel, and Barista Parlor.

How we know the hosts:

Jenny Somers used to be in a band with Tom in high school. She is also, and more importantly, his little sister! Jenny and Tyler Somers are our special siblings with whom we have shared a home in Nashville, and done ministry alongside in the UK, twice! A sweet collection of lullabies sure to make any child—or adult for that matter—find peace and rest before drifting to sleep. She has a lovely voice and a beautiful heart. The Appel Boys LOVE JJ Heller and have been known to cover some of her songs frequently while riding their bikes. ;)

How we know the artists:

It's amazing what Kingdom-minded generous people will do! Jenny of Jenny & Tyler just happens to be Tom's little sister. Through Jenny, Joanna was able to briefly meet JJ Heller, who is simply amazing. Sara Groves is a close friend of Jenny's as well as they have been out on tour together several times, but we have never met. Just like I said, all generous lovely people!

Joanna used to work for Gary at Discipleship Ministries, an agency of the United Methodist Church. Based in Nashville, TN, Gary was the executive Director of the New Church Starts for the denomination and it was Joanna's job make him sign stacks of paper, book his plane tickets and screen his calls. Gary and his wife, Kim are lovely welcoming folks-y folks who love Jesus and are currently based in Gastonia, NC.

How we know the artist:

Joanna's connection with Erin goes back to before either of them were born! Erin's grandparents looked after Joanna's parents when they first moved to Minnesota back in the 70's. Our families have been connected on and off for a number of decades now! When Erin started to make jewelry in 2010, she became Tom's first call for all for every birthday, christmas and anniversary present for Joanna. She is truly talented and an artist to be admired!
